Many elements of the decoration as, for instance,
heavy oaken gates in the main hall "Konyushnya" were almost
untouched from the moment of building's construction.
This is done to guests who will feel closer for the vibe
of palace Petersburg and mode of life of those times.
The name of the room originates from the Russian
word "Konyushnya" which means "stable".
Many years ago the space of the hall provided a passage for horses
and carriages from bank of Moyka River
to Millionnaya Street.
People used to bring goods for nobles by this way.
